Yeah U of A's bookstore will be selling it for $69 on launch night only, 6-7PM Friday night. I'll be going there now instead of the Apple store too lol. They're also offering free tshirts to the first 50 people and say that they will be doing leopard demostrations as well.

Since I installed 10.3.8, my PowerBook has been crashing nonstop. I don't know if it's 10.3.8's fault, but I want to see if I can downgrade to 10.3.7 and see if that solves anything.
Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

OK, I've edited my post to remove the reference. It wasn't my intention to call anyone out by name in particular.
But, however you dress it up, the level of trolling/shouting makes the MR forum very difficult to read sometimes. The ban list helps, but hiding the replies would clean things up even more.

That sucks.
As a tech support guy, though, I should point out that if they can't reproduce the problem, they would have a hard time fixing it. The calls I hated to get when I worked at Microsoft were "We had this problem, and it only occurred ONCE. How do we fix it?" Problems like that either have an easy solution (we've seen it before, here's how to stop it happening again) or NO solution (we've never seen it before, we don't have enough info to suggest anything other than general troubleshooting steps).
I hate that they caused additional damage to your PowerBook. If I ever have to send mine in, I'll be documenting the entire condition of the PB, along with photos, and I'll be making sure that they understand I want it back in the same (or better) condition.

Doesn't vBulletin software have this feature?
It's not a standard vBulletin feature. I know of a third-party add-on that provides this feature but it's not compatible with the version of vBulletin to which we just upgraded.

I would imagine they're probably holding off until Tiger at which point, if I remember correctly, iSync is going to be discontinued and its functions integrated more heavily into the OS and .mac.Actually iSyncmay nto be gone. Yes, they integrated .Mac Sync preferences into the system preferences, but they didn't add anything sync prefs for cells phones, iPods, etc - so iSync will probably be around to configure and control syncing with those devices.

I'm thinking part of it is a validation issue. You have problems both on the main page that declares the frames, and in the page where the frame leads to.
Use this validator. (http://validator.w3.org/)
Also, what I provided was slightly different than what you have. You don't have the ending /, which might make a difference. I've honestly never used the base tag so can't speak to it much.

Am I correct in thinking that under OS X a kilobyte is 10^3 bytes? (The name kibibyte now referring to 2^10 bytes).
See attached image showing the info tab for a text file I have.
How can the file be 4 KB on disk and yet only 1,042 bytes of information? That seems like quite a discrepancy. Why does the text consume only 1,042 bytes of ascii information and yet take 4KB to store this to disk? What am I missing?
So Vampire Diaries fans and

I noticed that after a software update this morning I can no longer write to the root directory of OS X without giving my password. I don't usually use it for anything anyway but I'm wondering why this suddenly kicked in?
Get info permissions:
System - Read & Write
Admin - Read Only (used to be Read & Write)
Everyone - Read Only
I just want to make sure that nothing's wrong with my OS X install :)

As far as I know it has been tested on a flat surface. I'll ask her to try the paper-clip eject, but the eject mechanism consistently works perfectly fine as long as there is no cd inserted, so there is something fishy going on here.
Apparently there is something with the combo cd+tray that seems to prevent the tray from popping open.

I don't think you can like Rower said, just use a disk image, the AES-128bit encryption is damn near impossible to get into . Thats your best bet.
