I'm using Electron Microscope to track Folding status on a couple of Windows boxes. Over the past few weeks I've had several WU's complete and just hang out. All of them are pointing at the same server: 171.64.122.136.
I currently have three completed WU's, all for that server, plus two more processing that I'm expecting to sit upon completion. So far, the WU's sit for a week or two, then they finally go through.
Is anyone else seeing problems with that particular server? Is there any way to force the upload and still be assured of credit for me and the team?

How can I access the the redundant formats and delete them?
They should be in Home Folder/Movies/iMovie Projects/your movie name. That file is a package containing the various formats of your project. You can just delete that file, or right(ctrl) click to have a look inside.
In iMovie if you delete just your Project and leave the Events, you can redo a project again, but if you delete just the Events, then the associated Project won't run.

Make an alias TO the desktop and rename it Photo Booth. Delete the Photo Booth folder out of pictures, and put the alias in its place.
Do this. It will do exactly what you want. Trust me. This is how I used to do my iTunes library until they added the option in there.
Try exactly that with Photo Booth and see what happens.
You seem to be confusing an alias with a Windows shortcut. They don't serve the same function.
Yes, they do.
In Mac OS System 7 and later, an alias is a small file that represents another object in a local, remote, or removable file system and provides a dynamic link to it; the target object may be moved, and the alias will still link to it. In Windows, the same function is performed with a "shortcut"

For those of you still involved in SETI@home...
SETI@home NewsSETI@home has completed its transition to BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing). BOINC, developed at U.C. Berkeley, is a framework for volunteer computing projects like SETI@home.
Switching your computer to the new "SETI@home/BOINC" is easy. Visit http://setiathome.berkeley.edu for instructions. We'll be shutting down the "SETI@home Classic" project on December 15. The workunit totals of users and teams will be frozen at that point, and the final totals will be available on the web.
Scientists at other universities are using BOINC to create volunteer computing projects in areas like molecular biology, high-energy physics, and climate change study. See http://boinc.berkeley.edu for more information. BOINC lets you donate computer time to multiple causes, divided up however you want. For example, your PC could spend 40% of its time searching for extraterrestrial life (SETI@home), 30% studying climate change (http://climateprediction.net), and 30% studying protein folding, design and docking (Rosetta@home: http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/).
You can run SETI@home 100% of the time if you want. But we strongly encourage you to participate in other projects. Doing so ensures that when SETI@home is down or has no work, your computer stays busy helping other researchers.I thought they made the BOINC switch long ago, but apparently I was just remembering when they started the switch.

I remember running into his "posts" in almost every thread I clicked on that afternoon. It really ticked me off.You would have gone nuts when Sammy D was posting.
His name even gets bleeped out now. *****, *****, *****. See. ;)

Have you ever seen a game - film crossover?
What did GeOW have? Fun gameplay and a bad story.
As a film? bwhaha. laughable. MGS film? A stealth game with over the top, cheesy cutscenes?! They had better not go through with the Metroid film too.
What they did to Doom will disgust me forever.

Crap, now ngmoco is going to ruin all my favorite Freeverse games! I wish Apple would implement an "ignore updates" feature for the App Store.
Freemium is really lame. I've never been able to get into any of them. My wife was really excited about Touch Pets but hasn't played it since it came out. She didn't want to keep having to pay for dog food. She would rather have a real dog and pay for it's dog food! Too bad our landlord changed our contract at the last minute before we signed it to no pets. If our rent wasn't $329/mo I would probably care more (and yes--its a nice 2br apartment, not fancy though. We just live in a low living expense area and have good credit, but I digress!)
Didn't they make a ton of money from Rolando 1 & 2? I loved both those games. When I heard they killed Rolando 3 because they couldn't figure out a way to financially rape my wallet with a freemium system, I was so upset. Fine, don't take my $10. There are alternatives, Soosiz anyone? Has anyone heard of a sequel to that?

the Switcheasy NeoTouch puts your iPod at around the thickness of an iPhone 3Gs. not super slim, but pretty decent (slimmer than both the Rebel or the Torrent). i can attest to its quality and protection! otherwise check out their Nude.

My early 2008 Macbook Pro just died after two and a half years. When I brought it into the Apple Store, they said my logic board had failed and wasn't my nVidia 8600GT. $1,100 to replace. I said no thanks.
I'll be needing a laptop this Sept for school and the new Macbook Pros look awesome. Is there anything about them I should be afraid of?? I don't want it to break down.
I would say you are OK. The issue that befell the 2008 MBP was strictly an NVidia 8600m GT issue and is not carried forward to the new unibody designs. Also, the non-unibody MBP tended to run pretty hot which didn't help the issue. The lower power CPU's and better thermal design of the unibody will reduce stress on the system components. In a nutshell, get a new unibody MBP without worry. You'll love it.

Good quality. Pairs perfectly with the IP4 and you can answer, mute, and run the Ipod part of your IP4, volume controls, rechargeable.
