Well first, do you have a wireless connection for your internet?
If you do, then go to Setting ->Wi-Fi -> then find your wireless and connect there.

Also, at the moment they have the boring printer offer when you buy a system, anyone know how often the free iPod offers come around instead?
Cheers!
Are you a student? If not you don't qualify for this offer anyway.

Alright, so my order for the iPod touch protectors came in today. Came in a typical grey package. It comes with two screen protectors, a microfiber cloth, and a squeegee. I'm actually surprised that it didn't come with dust stickers, but I don't think it matters that much.
The installation was actually pretty easy. I've heard cases where dust became an issue when installing. However, in my case the screen protector went on fine. First try too, with all the bubbles removed which was pretty impressive.
Anyways, onto the screen protector itself. What I liked about this screen protector is that it does exactly as advertised. There are no fingerprints on the screen at all, which is what I needed considering that for some odd reason, the iPod touch is more of a fingerprint magnet than its predecessors.
What bothers people the most is that the clarity generally is reduced with these types of screen protectors. In my opinion, the screen still looks amazing. The grainy aspect for the screen protector is still there, but for some reason, compared to the AF screen protectors before it, I feel like this one was made for the retina display.
The cutouts were perfectly done, so no complaints here. The matte screen feels great to glide across and feels more cleaner now that the fingerprints are gone.
Overall, it's a great protector. It's a great buy if you don't like those fingerprints, and I think I'm gonna stick with this one for a long time. 9.5/10

Steve is often interviewed on CNBC following a keynote. I don't see anything scheduled, but not sure if there would be. They have some pre-event coverage, nothing beyond the speculation we've seen elsewhere.
CNN just mentioned MacWorld, with the buzz Steve will announce the phone. Their phrasing was also clearly speculation, don't think they have anything we haven't heard, they're probably using MacRumors as their source. :-)

Well. I don't think I have a network and I have never heard of Alan what's his name or seen this before. I may have been in public on a wireless network but why would I see all of this persons information on my desktop? I'm sorry. I'm not that knowledgable when it comes to computer networks.

I have 4 hard drives (Mac OS Journal formatted) that I want to move from my Mac Pro to an external enclosure. Then I want to be able to access the drives with my new Mac Pro. They contain data now and I obviously don't want to format them. Do I need to do anything to set up the external enclosure? Should I set it up first, attach it to the Mac Pro and then transfer the data? Or can I just remove them, pop them in the enclosure and connect to the MP?
Any recommendations on a 4 bay enclosure?

It's still under warranty, so no need to worry. Just take it to the Apple Store.

WHY ARE THERE NO BOT OR MACRO APPS FOR THE IPOD TOUCH?
Someone really needs to make one,and because there are no others they would make hundreds of dollars selling them on cydia, I would make one myself but I have no idea about making apps...GIVE ME YOUR INPUT PEOPLE,I want to hear it!!...btw if you don't know what a macro is it is a program that records your mouse movements and keystrokes so that they can be replayed and automated,it makes life alot simpler...it can be used to automatically log you in to a website or as an auto forum poster, anyways tell me your thoughts...
The closest app I've found resembling a macro is called auto web and is on the app store for free,it just records your web logins with http URL and stuff...so far I can't find anything to actually mimic the touch screens touches...

Higher MBP is great for HD video editing.
Does he need high resolution screen in glossy or Antiglare?
Get 8GB of RAM yourself.

That's one of the reasons why I decided to get a logitech keyboard and mouse for my iMac instead of using the Apple ones. They have extra buttons that control itunes that don't require you to have itunes as the top program.

I'm sure the computer would be great, no matter which size you buy. I'm not trying to strong-arm you. Do whatever you like, mate.
But, honestly, the 27" screen is a complete knock-out. I can't do it without, now.
