Hi,
I MRoogled a bit but couldn't find a definite answer.
Does anyone know what/if a 1TB drive you could use in a 2011 MBP?
What height does it need to be? 9.5/12mm?
Anyone know of any good ones?
Thanks.

My Dad signed up on Monster and got a lot of interest from various companies just from having his CV up there, from what I've seen it's very effective. As to whether they're actually jobs that look appealing or attractive to you or not, I don't know, but certainly employers will want to contact you after you complete everything!

iPhoneExplorer is kinda buggy for me on a Mac. It was really buggy on Win7 machine but I hear it works pretty well on WinXP
iFunBox works real well on Windows and that's what I use on Win7.
Nope. I have xp and I am playing with explorer and iPhone browser. Both crash or don't do what I want. I'll try the other programs.
Update: Just used ifunbox and it was great

That is actually a very good point you've brought up. The main interest I have with Thunderbolt is is there will be any AV I/O devices.
Still this is what happens when ultra new technology has been introduced without much support of devices, I can remember the same when USB was introduced...

It depends on the repair. For major repairs like logic boards they may not have any at the store, so you will have to send it in.

The coverage has improved the past few years, 5 plus hours of mostly commercial free coverage. Plus Masters.com showing morning to sunset.

Thanks for that, I'll get my mac nephew to have a look; he thinks I'm swearing at him when I used to ask him questions about my PC!
Generally, would it make everything better, and faster, if I simply ditched the Netgear router and bought another Airport Express?
It certainly wouldn't be faster nor easier. If you can put the AE into bridge mode, you're done. :)

For $350,000, Krell could at least come out with a better name than HEAT. God awful scammers.

Hi Guys,
My wifes 3GS is having an issue with signal. It keps losing signal for no reason. Im on the same network and have no issues.
I search for available carriers and none are found. Then all of a sudden the signal will return and be normal.
A 'Genius' looked at it and said the phone needs replacing. Didn't try and diagnose the issue. Phones out of warranty so it's 140 for the pleasure. Don't really want to do that as we're not far off the upgrade date of the contract.
Any ideas? I would have thought if it was hardware it would be out all the time?
Cheers,

You must not use WEP. Change the printer if it doesn't support WPA, or connect it by cable.

Thanks, for the suggestion. ;) Of course I happened to be typing the post on my original iPad, so it was one of the first things I did. Also had another cable and swapped it, (just incase).
There was nothing, no beeps, no signs of life whatsoever, then after a long time and the occasional check to see if it would turn on - the :apple: appeared! and I was back at 10% again...
I'll be making sure the battery is properly charged and keeping an eye on it, but its not like I'm new to the "i" world, this isn't the same behaviour I have from my iPhone or my original iPad?
Anyway panic over for now.:o

I'm also wondering about this, especially compared to other cards.
Ive been looking into getting a new video card for my 1,1 mac pro for some time but I dont want to pay upwards of 250$ for an apple one just to find out its uncompatable with the mac pro, or drop 250$ on a card that i can get for 150$ on newegg and flash it :P

I've been looking to buy the new iPad 2 but no stores in the UK sell them. I have checked Currys/PC World since the release date (March 25th) and they aren't in stock. I even paid a visit to my local Currys/PC World and they told me they don't know when they will be back in stock but to check online for availability. I have been checking every day on the companies site since the release date but all I get is a miserable "out of stock" I have even checked John Lewis, Tesco Direct and Argos but its the same there too. The Apple store is probably my best bet to buy one but the nearest store is over one hundred miles away. I would buy online through the Apple store but I am not very comfortable with online buying.

First time jailbreaker ...
Following the instructions on the Redmond Pie website for my 3rd gen ipod touch and got to the part where I need to browse for my IPSW.
I DL'd "iPhone3,1_4.3.2_8H7.bundle" and put it in the Contents/Resources/FirmwareBundles/ directory in the Pwnage Tool package.
I DL'd the file "ipod3,1_4.3.2_8H7_Restore.ipsw" and placed on my desktop, but Pwnage Tool keeps giving the "Wrong firmware bundle selected" error.
Not sure where I am going wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

last time i checked there were no rules on what websites you could and couldn't put online.
iPod mini is a new product from apple. I knew it would be a popular product so i decided to make a site about it. Yes.. i realize that the mini and original iPod are very similar. But still, how many iPod "mini" websites are out there??
...any "new" iPod Mini users out there? Not just some Original iPod owner who may not be as excited about the Mini as I am??

Does apple provides any checking that only a particular iTunes account details, can download a valid receipt while entering the login credentials.
What will happen when a different user copying the application to other MAC try to enter a different iTunes login details while it popups.
