hey...
a few things. You can't copy content from other websites and simply link to them. Not without permission. those pages will need to be deleted. It's a very different situation as from Wikipedia and our own forums. Wikipedia licenses their content to allow that to be done. The forums are owned by me... so I give myself permission. Beyond that, it's copyright infringement.

I don't think we need to make a category for a single program. Simply put it in the broadest category. (Mac OS X in this case). If we get enough of them (3-4 or more) then we can create a subcatgegory.

Funny had this same issue yesterday morning called apple and the tech was apparently talking to iTunes support over instant message and they kept telling him that I wasn't putting in my password correctly. The guy's supervisor ended up replicating what i was doing and it didnt work for him as well and still the iTunes support person said it was me somehow which was funny cause the tech on the phone just kept apologizing since he knew it wasn't me.
Finally after about an hour they said just what was mentioned here to log out and log back in. That was it. So simple.
Yeah, when I emailed Apple support all they said was reset the password, which wasn't working! So thankful for this forum!

Hello. I have a battery from an iBook G3 that has not been used in over a year. It has been sitting in my closet because my iBook died due to the dreaded graphics card problem. My buddy has an iBook G3 and I was wondering if the battery would hold charge after sitting for a year. The last time I used it, it could hold about 2 1/2 hours.

I recently got the Revolve xeMini Plus charging kit for my iPhone. Now, I can recharge in the car, from the wall, with solar, from the computer, or even from the internal backup battery. It's been a life saver more than once! Highly recommended!

If I remember correctly, Steve Jobs announced that iPhone 4 will be available for 16gb 599 and 32gb for 699. Can some one please tell where can I find it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thank you, guys.
Indded it seems that infrastracture for multiple simultaneous logins in place,
but need some tweaking.
Thanks for the pointing to fast user switching - will dig in this direction
Not graphical ones: Quartz basically only expects one active user at a time

Also check if you marked the share internet in the control panel. Worked for me since I am also in a Windows network with my flatmates.

It would be good to know if I still have another good decade to go. That man just looks younger than the 44 years olds that I know.

Check out Arduino and Xbee.
You can quite easily build a sensor that communicates to your mac via zigbee. You then need to have a mac program that sends you the email.

Except HFS+ today wouldn't recognize itself if it saw its own picture from the 8.1 days.
Yes, and no. Yes, a lot of cool stuff has been added, but your Snow Leopard drive will still mount on an 8.1 machine. The journal will be reset, the file system event record for time machine will be reset, your spotlight database will likely need to be recreated, and you won't be able to read any files compressed for Snow Leopard, but otherwise, you'll be able to get to your files. Oh wait... no you won't... unless you're using an Apple Partition Map instead of GUID Partition Table (which technically has very little to do with HFS+ itself)... It's both cool and sad at the same time.
Last rumors I heard hinted that since the ZFS licensing fell through, Apple's working internally on their own new file system, which is almost a given, really.
