An interesting song I found on YouTube made for Canada Day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWQf13B8epw
Lyrics:
Yeah I know that you wanna be Canadian, please
Even if in winter things tend to freeze
We've got the world monopoly on trees
And our country's bordered by three different seas
Yeah I know that you wanna be Canadian, please
We invented the zipper, we've got expertise
We made insulin to combat disease
Yeah I know that you wanna be Canadian, please
♫ Brits have got the monarchy
The US has the money
But I know that you wanna be Canadian
The French have got the wine and cheese
Koalas chill with the Aussies
But I know that you wanna be Canadian ♫
Et si ce n'tait pas assez
On a deux langues officielles:
L'anglais et le franais
Ooh la la
Yeah I know that you wanna be Canadian, please
Where else do you find mounted police
Or go to the hospital and not pay fees
Yeah I know that you wanna be Canadian, please
And when freshwater is in high demand
We've got the world's largest supply on hand
So you know that we could make a pretty good friend
But it's even better if you can be...
♫ Brits have got the monarchy
The US has the money
But I know that you wanna be Canadian
The French have got the wine and cheese
Koalas chill with the Aussies
But I know that you wanna be Canadian ♫
So you're thinking to yourself,
"How do I live in this beautiful country?"
Well we've got some steps for you to follow...
STEP 1: Lose the gun
STEP 2: Buy a canoe
STEP 3: Live multiculturally
STEP 4: You're ready, there is no more!
We got beavers, caribou and moose
We got buffalos, bears, and Canadian goose
And we're sorry about Celine Dion
But she did do that good song for James Cameron...
♫ Brits have got the monarchy
The US has the money
But I know that you wanna be Canadian
The French have got the wine and cheese
Koalas chill with the Aussies
But I know that you wanna be Canadian
The Greek chilled out with Socrates
Can't build a wall like the Chinese
But I know that you wanna be Canadian
In Kenya they have safaris
We've missed lots of other countries
But I know that you wanna be Canadian ♫ ♫

I mentioned this on the 28th in the mac general discussion forum. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10435
I found downloaded it and told people to look at the pdf files inside the stuffed folder, but nobody ever posted anthing in response.
For those of you who have not seen it it just has a small engineering scematic that says 1394b connector. It is not that informative abouit specifications just that it does exist. I will not post the files as per Arns's request.

Well, given how tiny the Nano is you shouldn't have any problem hiding it from him... ;)

I have been playing the game for over a year now, and all i can say is wow. Its a huge game, and i probably will never beat it. I have started over 3 times since i started the game. All in all i think i have over 100-120 hours in the game. And i keep finding new stuff, this is the first game i have played this far and long in forever.

It only updates once a day. I'm looking for a quicker response.
I don't know what to tell you then. Maybe update the app to better handle the unexpected content so that the app doesn't crash.

My 4th gen white "classic" is still going strong too. I hope they never do away with the design-- it's so iconic.

jdusoccer12, what category best describes the USB cable fraying...
Battery, Charging, and Power. And then it asks what accessory and you select the USB to Dock Connector ( or whatever they call it )

Provided AT&T is generous with their upgrade window, the only things that could get me to update would be a $199 price for the 32 GB and a larger screen (as long as it doesn't increase the size of the device.)
Otherwise, I'll probably just wait it out for the 4G in 2012. I'm much more interested in iOS 5.
There's a chance Apple may include some iOS 5 dual core-only features, and that could be a deciding factor. I doubt it, though (not interested in photobooth.)

I've been frustrated with this too - the best I found was Picasa Web Integrator:
http://www.paulvanroekel.nl/picasa-web-restyled/integrator/
It takes a bit of effort to set up but doesn't look to bad in the end. It works with lightbox as well.
Good luck!

My dad brought home a G4 iMac today. I'm currently obtaining the *ehem* DVD, if you know what I mean... I sold my Leopard disk last year (desperate times - iPhone 4 launch ) for a pretty penny not thinking I'd end up with so many PPCs a year later.
Is there anyway I could load this DVD on a USB drive and put it in target mode and install it wirelessly like if it were the DVD? I do have DVD disks, but they're single layer and I know you can't boot a PPC off USB drives.

When they do update (i'm assuming there is no date for this set?) No date set, but hopefully soon enough.
what happens to the current models? The current ones will be slightly cheaper, even more so on Refurb.
Do they go on sale or clearance of some sort? Yup
Do the prices go up for the new models, or do they stay about the same as the ones listed now? Typically they will stay the same price, just rev up the specs. Hopefully we are talking SandyBridge and ThunderBolt

Thanks for the reply!
He only has the 256M in the iBook... but it's worked fine for him before. It might have slowed down before when he had a bunch of things running, but never did programs crash and the computer reboot on its own. He doesn't do much with it... firefox- mail- ichat- word- itunes- iphoto. That's about all he runs. But starting last week.. the system went from running fine for him.. to being unstable.. it seems that "something" happened. I was thinking that the prebinding not being able to complete might be a clue to what that "something" was.
He has no external devices other than his digital camera..
I haven't tried anything with different users- I'll try that next.
I might end up having to do an archive and install.. but I was hoping to find and fix the problem. I'm sure I'll be plesantly surprized with how easy the archive and install goes.. (will I need to archive to an external drive?) I was hoping to use this opertunity to learn more about fixing OSX!

Try running "Activity Monitor" to see what is running on the computer. Let us now what you see.

Create a second user account on the PS3, and set the region as the one you want to get items from. That way, when you go to the PSN Store, it will show the items for that region.
I did this very thing when the Killzone 2 demo came out. It was only available in Europe, UK, etc. I just made another user, set the region to "Ireland" and downloaded away. Granted, this was a demo, not a purchase, but I wouldn't think it would be any different.

I hope this post gets filed in the "I knew I wasn't the only one!" mental filing cabinets of many. Because if it doesn't, then it makes me the only one who really looks forward to the music Apple uses in its keynotes. Whether it's a song that leads up to Steve Jobs' entrance on stage, or one used in software or hardware demos, there's no denying that music is very much a part of Apple's DNA. Heck, the company's namesake reflects Steve's love for the Beatles.
Apple occasionally invites some of music's biggest names to perform at its events because, as Steve says, "it's all about the music."
And this post is all about the music. It's all about the music that Apple has used in one way, shape, or form at its keynote events. Although by no means a definitive list, it's certainly a fair sample.

I own a TiBook, and I'm extrememly happy with it. It has been extremely durable.
You may notice a slight speed decrease in web-surfing. Especially in Flash performance. Web surfing tends to be slower due mostly to lack of a good browser on the Mac. But there are some really nice stripped down browsers out there that will fly on either an iBook or TiBook.
Good luck!! :)

i can't give away that. That just makes the hospital look horribly bad and that i am saying it to purposefully make them look bad.
